Architectural and display projects
1993 saw the start of Martin Darnell's materials being specified for architectural and display projects.
They were used as store and window displays for retailers, such as John Lewis, Jaeger, and Hamleys and for diffusing the ceiling lighting in terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport. Today our products can be found in many of Europe’s most prestigious architectural projects including restaurants, bars, hotels, retail centres and nightclubs, where there is a growing demand for our stylish diffusers for suspended ceilings and back illuminated walls and screens. The textile, paper and fibre laminates, give a warm finish when unlit and then totally transform the site when illuminated. They change dull areas into decorative features and with our ability to print logos and slogans, can additionally be used as illuminated point of sale displays.
 

Our products are sold in material form for your contractor to build into your project, or we can arrange for walls and screens to be built off site to your specification, to be incorporated in your scheme. Our suspended ceiling diffusers are made in two standard sizes, 56cm x 56cm and 56cm x 116cm and are ready to slip in front of the fitted light box.
